The COVID-19, the Coronavirus pandemic has affected the Asia and the Pacific region as it spreads widely around the globe. The disease in itself does not discriminate, in that it knows no borders, ethnicities or language barriers. Its impacts, however, are disproportionately discriminatory and threatening – especially to the most vulnerable populations – including refugees, asylum seekers and people who have been forcibly displaced.
APRRN is playing a part in responding to this by providing members and colleagues up-to-date geographic updates, as well as the relevant resources needed to effectively prevent, strategise, aid, and advocate in this challenging context.
